This is actually the most important part of the article. I've tried the steps, but apparently it's not enough. I hade to make minor adjustments in Apache, MySQL (MariaDB), and even phpMyAdmin configuration. In the end, there's a problem in migrating my databases. Since I'm stuck and need to keep my XAMPP running, I simply uninstall the new XAMPP and go back to my old XAMPP. :D
